RO Writer enables automotive repair facilities to communicate with their customers via SMS text messages for service‑related purposes.

SMS Consent Language

“By texting TEXTME, you consent to receive SMS messages from [Shop Name] about service updates, appointments and recommended services related to your current transaction. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

How Consent Is Collected

Customers may consent in either of the following ways:

  • By in person verbal consent: End users opt in by verbally agreeing to receive SMS messages.
  • By texting the keyword TEXTME to the automotive repair facility’s phone number and receiving an automated opt‑in confirmation message.

Opt‑Out Instructions

Customers may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, no further messages will be sent unless the customer opts in again.
